Prior to joining Neopets, Mr. Powell gained significant technical and business experience through his founding of several U.K.-based Internet companies. In March 1997, Mr. Powell co-founded Netmagic, a successful business focusing on the design, programming and sale of online banner advertising. At Netmagic, Mr. Powell developed software to place animated ads on customer websites and interactive programs for online product orders. In the summer of 1997, Mr. Powell started Shout! Advertising, where he was engaged in software development, consulting for banner ad design and Internet transaction fulfillment. By mid-1999, Shout! Advertising operated the number 3 click-through program on the Internet. In July 1999, Mr. Powell founded Powlex Limited. At Powlex, Mr. Powell was responsible for the design of clients' website architecture, database integration and web page design. Mr. Powell currently focuses on the technical and programming aspects of the Neopets website.

Ms. Williams enjoyed a broad range of marketing and website development experience prior to starting Neopets. As Marketing Manager for Shout! Advertising from September 1997 to July 1999, Ms. Williams was responsible for Internet advertising sales and services, including graphic design, web schematics and consulting with clients regarding ad format and layouts. From July 1999 to early 2000, Ms. Williams worked at Speedyclick.com, handling website development and Internet advertising services. Ms. Williams currently focuses on the creative development and marketing of the Neopets website.
