Did you know that although you can use your account at amazon.com on amazon.co.uk, your wishlist doesn't transfer over?

They have different kids books and toys, too.

I think I'm going to end up with multiple amazon wish lists.

*grins*

I'm just going to pop the links in my user info so I'm not more of a nuisance.

It's so weird, too, that site with the weird spellings, and books with different coloration, so, for example, "Brown Bear" is kinda mustard yellow.

Edit: I can't remember. Is it double the pounds to get dollars, or the other way around?

Response to your edit: It's (roughly) double the pounds to get the dollars. A dollar is (as of today) worth about .53 pounds.

I had just gone on an Internet tear to prove that I was right, too!! You realize that, by indentifying your error and correcting it before I had a chance to, you have just made the last fifteen minutes of my LIFE pointless?

(as opposed to all the time I spent playing spades online before that . . . )

Hey, do you know if it's possible to get someone something from their wishlist without knowing their address? And if so, how?

yeah i have noticed the differences between american products and those in the UK. some of the harry potter stuff is different too. plus, england gets some books earlier for some strange reason, prolly cuz it hasnt passed the homeland security sensors.
