I've been strongly tempted to kick SynapticKnob off a few times now, including once today. I forget what the person said, but in that case it was related to autism directly and was wildly inaccurate lies of some kind.

We could take the practice of replying to every inappropriate comment with something like "homophobia is not acceptable" and then immediately delete both our comment plus whatever she said..

It's a tough call, though, and I'm way too out-of-it tonight to think clearly enough to be of much use. :-/

You've all tried to reason with him/her, and logic fails because they won't respond in kind. So now I'd say start deleting those stupid comments, as you say, Moggy.. might irritate them enough to cause them to leave on their own. Or it might make them blow up and give you an excuse to ban 'em!

First of all... this person needs to learn to distinguish between sexuality, sex, and gender.

Only sex is unaffected by culture.

If it was me, I'd wait till this latest kerfuffle dies down. I've only seen her post the one shit-stirring post so far. If she goes on like this (a la our naked friend) then she'd qualify as disruptive, but at the moment she's just offensive and not banworthy. IMO, of course.
