Date: 2004-11-06 11:11 am (UTC)You would appear to be confused. Australia is the one with the poisonous creepy crawlies. We have 2 poisonous spiders (harvest, redback), one that's just dirty (whitetail) and no poisonous snakes.

Date: 2004-11-06 09:13 pm (UTC)I'm not sure about the agressive part :). The harvest spider (daddy longlegs) is very poisonous but it's fangs are too weak to bite humans anyway *grin*. I've never seen a redback personally. Whitetails are kinda annoying, but you can generally tell if you have them in the house by the lack of other spiders around, they are canabalistic.
