How *do* people make more entries appear on their journal/friends page?

I believe the place to edit how many entries appear on a page is here: http://www.livejournal.com/customize/layer.bml?w=user&journal=conuly

Just pick click 'presentation.' The override for the number of entries should be listed first. Just choose 'override' and type in whatever number you would like. That link should work... it leads me to the editing page. If not, I can give you more specific directions, if I can figure out how I got there myself.

Okay. Go to: http://www.livejournal.com/customize/ and hit the 'edit customizations' button near the bottom. That should take you to the page I tried to link you to directly. It should have four tab-things near the top: layout, colour, presentation and text. Choose presentation. The journal entry numbers should be at the top.

I know how to get to that customizations page, that's where I was. I was unable to edit the number of entries per page there.

But you're using system 2, though, aren't you? If you go to the presentation section, it's right at the top: "Number of journal entries to show on recent entry page," with the friends page right below that.

Rawr. Explaining things is no fun over the computer, I get confused too easily.

No, fig, it's not. It is *not* at the top of the page in the S2 system. I was just there. You're not "explaining this badly" . You are mistaken. Or you're mistaken for me. It is possible that this is not an option with the style I have. I don't have the option to change the comments link, not in this style, so maybe I don't have the option to change the number of entries per page.

Ohhhh. The FAQ says you can only do that in an S1 style system. There's my problem!

Oh, sorry, I didn't realize that some styles didn't allow you to edit the number of comments on a page. It's sort of silly not to have it available on all the different styles.

You could always change yours.. but that might reset all of your customizations, I dunno.

It will, but that's easily fixed so long as I record them all beforehand.

I like my style. It has the option to post the icons you used next to the entries. As I am an icon addict, it's perfect for me.
