I love looking out the window at the snowfall

I don't quite relish the idea of going out in it, and god knows where our shovel went, but gosh, I love looking at the snow!

The kids in the yards behind my building are certainly enjoying it. I can hear them chortling with glee.

We used to get so much more snow, it seems.

Yeah, I remember getting a lot more snow. Now, we get a layer, it warms up, rains, it's gone. Then it gets frigid again. Then snows, then rains, then is gone. I miss blizzards. I want one on Christmas Eve. Preferably the day before. But I doubt I'll get my wish.
