And one email and voicemail later, my pay didn't come in and nobody has responded yet. (I did wake up pretty late, but seriously.)

I'll call again in the morning, I don't care if it is a weekend, but....

I don't know what I'll do for groceries if this isn't resolved by Monday, but I'll wait until Monday to worry about it.

I did get *very* desperate (I had just come off a period of 6 months on sick leave, so getting my new pay packet was pretty urgent), but at least the office was elsewhere in the same building.

I can answer the second half of that. No, Interac e-transfer does not work with US bank accounts.

But if you're bound and determined, I can take any small sum up to $50-ish - I do need to get cat food, and I did promise the residents donuts on Monday in honor of the holiday. But luckily, a refund just came through and somebody else sent me a gift, so I'm not as hard up as I was yesterday when I posted this.

Mmm, well, the pay comes through the temp agency. The house is fine. I like to complain more than anything else. But I do need to at least get with a different agency that pays more.

Exceedingly illegal, and I'm currently worried that they'll ask me to confirm which days I worked which... I'm really not sure? There was some shifting schedules due to lots of people calling out sick on various days.
