You do? I'm honoured. I think I consider almost all of my friends 'sort of.' I think it's just one of my quirks. Or maybe it's an insecurity.

I do like buying presents for people, but everything is so intangible over the internet that I feel guilty spending a lot. Of course, I don't usually buy expensive realpresents either. Marbles, bottles, old keys, books, silly toys... all of those things are generally ten dollars or lower. Spending large amounts of money is scary!

I know how you feel. But for whatever reason, I feel close to you and like you. So, by that measure, you're my friend. So far, I've seen no indication that I can't trust you, I've known you long enough that I trust that assessment, so that makes you a close friend. See how it works?
