After my parents died and I had their mail forwarded to my house, some months later I got a call from the ACLU. They had updated Dad's address to mine (fine: I forwarded that! Not what I wanted, but so it goes)...and reverse-looked up "his" phone number from "his" new address. And told me he must have used it on his account. (He never did.)

I haven't given them any money since, despite liking what they do, because I don't want to let them find me again. They do NOT let go of info they have. At all.
