Not getting my period when I think I ought to have my period

is almost as bad as having my period. Especially as I seem to have all the normal symptoms of my period without the bleeding.

Either my math is very bad and so's my memory, or it's been at least a week longer than it ought to have been. But since my memory isn't all that good for this, I actually don't know. On the plus side, I'm reasonably certain I haven't randomly invented parthenogenesis, so there's that.

I've been having periods more and less frequently and all sorts of wonky times for the past 3 years or so. They said probably early menopause even though I was only 40 when this started.

I recommend noting it down, for yourself and for some medical exams. They ask you the date of your latest period when you get a mammogram, for example.

Well. Let me put it this way.

I have a hard time remembering to brush my teeth every day, or feed myself, or do any of those other things.

I might be able to remember to note things down, but I'd never remember I'd done it.
