Little fluffy Frank! Who has finally calmed down enough not to get totally in Moonpie's face, so that's nice.

The dog's family is not happy about this election. It was not the most fun conversation I've had with a neighbor while walking my dog. "I've been trying not to look at the news!" Well, so have I, but somehow I ended up in this conversation? (But then, I've been shit at not looking at the news, so I really can't complain. Or, at least, I can't complain about my neighbors. I have plenty to complain about, believe me!)

On the one hand shared misery does tend to compound rather than halving. On the other hand at least your neighbors aren't rampantly celebrating?

Last time Cheeto Mussolini ran, I was plagued with coworkers who loved him (there is a weird subculture where the men become police and the women become nurses and the families' children marry each other and continue the tradition). One bragged that even the Black guy in her neighborhood had a Trump/Pence sign. I did not tell her, "That's because he doesn't want the rest of y'all to burn down his house." Be proud of me. And pet the dogs for me.

I knew how she voted, so I was trying to think if I should bring it up and, if so, how when she just jumped right in there!
