I get the same way. After getting sick, my breathing is sooooo touchy. The littlest thing can trigger a coughing fit that makes everyone on the bus think I have COVID and shrink away from me.

One thing I've learned since the pandemic is that if I don't get sick in fall and winter I can breathe all winter long, which also dramatically improves my mental health, so I'm hoping that I still get good-ish results by only getting sick one time.

I know, when I have a long stretch without getting sick, I almost forget that I ever had breathing problems... that and the wildfire smoke.
