conulyIt's going to be a painful ride, I bet, with lots of people exploding into gory bits.
A Train is tentatively trying out this new gameplan of not being a total jerkass. (It's possible Ashley's rant got to him. She's got her moments. His brother absolutely giving up on him definitely is helping as well.) The Deep is... well... himself. I kinda feel like he deserves to be graded on a curve because there's obviously something wrong with his understanding of the world, himself, and, you know, just everything? Like, yes, please, listen to your octopus girlfriend that you've hidden in a closet, just go with her, live underwater. I promise, even Homelander, who is petty as hell, is not going to bother to follow you to the Marianas Trench.
I want all these people to pay for their actions, but I also want them to get out. To just get out.
(Also, Homelander, my man. You had a shitty childhood. Like, E walked in, heard Homelander talking to Mirror!Homelander about "when we were in the bad room" and immediately asked what the fuck happened, and she was absolutely right to ask because the answer is "nothing good". So I get that you're not happy. But you do not need Sage and her dubious world-conquering advice. Taking over the world won't make you happy. You are unhappy with the sycophants you've already got, adding another several billion of them is not gonna help! No, what you need is therapy. Lots and lots of it. Unfortunately, therapy is probably not an option for you due to your impulse to kill anybody who upsets you - which is why you're surrounded by pathetic sycophants, this is a problem entirely of your own making - but if you could get that under control it might work? If you can find somebody capable of working with your particular set of problems which... okay, that's not a given, but it's not impossible, is it? Think about it, buddy.)
