(Or "watching" - we spend a lot of time carefully not looking at the screen because, wow, those writers love exploding humans on screen!)

And man, all those people are so shitty, but they're also so unhappy. I want to take every single one of our villains, and shake them, and say "Have you tried not being terrible? It might help!"

Seriously, I spend more time rooting for my favorites on Team Vaughn to become actual, likeable human beings than rooting for the eponymous Boys to kill them all or else otherwise bring them to justice/vengeance. (I've got high hopes for A-Train, though I'm aware those hopes will most likely be dashed.)

I concur with all of this, I think. It feels like a look into a parallel universe - like, yeah, that's what the world would be like with superheroes.
