kids around here scream & screech when they play. i'm pretty sure we didn't do that as kids. yell, or talk loudly, yes. but not scream/screech at the top of our lungs.

Well, I don't know about you, but I know that other children certainly screamed and yelled when playing when I was a child.

But they didn't usually howl like wolves.

In early grade school, my friends and I would occasionally demonstrate our animal imitation prowess. I was the best wolf howler, but I always envied the guy with the spot-on bobcat snarl. Especially when we were playing Thundercats. Maybe there is a wolf/dog/werewolf show currently en vogue with the grade schoolers?
