In other news, I've been practicing my Spanish and veering dramatically between "I had no idea I was this good at Spanish" and "Oh crap, I am way worse at this language than I thought!"

Languages that are not English have way too many conjugations.

Yeah, I get that whenever I try to read or watch anything in Spanish. It's hard to believe I held conversations back when I was studying it. (But at the same time, before I start I think I won't understand anything really, so when I can follow a chunk I'm still shocked.)
