I honestly just can't find them anywhere. Not where they belong, not in any location where somebody might reasonably have put them, not in any location where somebody might have absentmindedly put them - nowhere!

Date: 2024-05-17 06:13 am (UTC)I am not at all surprised. When the eldest was looking for places to live, this was the number one complaint. for two different places they lived, they outright lied about having a cat to get the place and hid having her.
And honestly, I've washed so much laundry in the tub over the years... if I had to make the choice today, I'd pick pet friendly over laundry as well.

Date: 2024-05-17 06:33 am (UTC)There are a lot of ways to deal with not having laundry in-unit, from washing in the tub to using a laundry service; pets being allowed or not is much more likely to be a showstopper for folks.
(Last time I was looking I was the opposite; due to allergies and lifestyle I'm not a pet owner, but I really wanted in-unit laundry. As it stands I'm in a pet-friendly building anyway.)

I cried my eyes out when my dog (a double rescue) of 7 years had to be put to sleep. Poor old thing.
Yes, I know bad pet owners are a pain in the ass but we love our pets. Laundry? Not so much.
