I think I'm *still* gonna be short on wildflower seeds

And this is after adding in the mix a friend sent and also some safflower seeds from my birdseed, and three packets of clovers.

I don't get it. I genuinely don't. Well, I guess I'll get some more? Hey, if I didn't do a mix and just put in some packets of wildflower seeds, what would you suggest? Just to look nice and appease my bird minions.

Also, I think I wasn't clear enough in my self-deprecation - we're about a third to a half a mile from the water if I go eastward, and a little less than a mile if I go north. We're really close.

I am right by the water though not on and I know there are gulls etc around because I hear them, but I have never had a gull stop by the feeding stations---or any other place. Not even to sit on the chimney.

I see them foraging in the tidal flats at the head of the harbor all the time. I guess, remarkably, that what they find there is good enough!
