But several people are posting images of backwards crescent shadows from makeshift pinhole cameras! Which is cool, and if you're doing that you probably already know this but I'll tell you again anyway, your eye works the same way. The light comes through a hole in the front, your pupil, and then creates a backwards image on your retina which your brain flips around for your benefit.
