I love it, and I love particularly the sequence in the tenses of the final line. All wish clauses, but first indicative past, then subjunctive present, then conditional present/immediate future. First she wishes the past, counter-factually, had been different, then that the present WERE different, then for a possible (but unlikely) change in the immediate future!
