I've been taking the minipill for seven years. It's improved my life quite a lot. (No periods. No dosing myself with ibuprofen, then paracetemol, then more ibuprofen).

But I know hormonal contraception can cause problems for some people.

I am SO FREAKING grateful that my pcp suggested an IUD 4.5 years ago - I am SO happy not to have periods any more! And my *new* pcp is On Board that the moment I start seeing any sign of periods coming back, she will replace the IUD with a new shiny one :D
