I have no idea how I feel about this! I do know that if we don't get to see clips of The Rise and Fall of Sanctuary Moon I will be extremely aggrieved.

I really, really want to see Sanctuary Moon! There's already fic on AO3, but it's not the same as the visual thing.

(Not sure how I feel about the Murderbot TV show. ALexander Skarsgard? Hmm.)

It amuses me greatly, and surprises me not at all, that we all want to see the media from the book - which is so very important to Murderbot after all - adequately presented in the show.

I'm excited! And I'm managing my expectations very, very carefully. So much of this story goes on in Murderbot's head. The action sequences won't be very hard to translate onto screen, but the internal stuff could go very wrong. And it's ALL OKAY. Even if the TV show is a disaster, that doesn't alter what we alerady have as text. The series will garner more attention for Martha Wells, which may translate into better book contracts, which can mean we'll get more of her books. All Good.
