conulyand when I went down a little later I couldn't find him. I looked all around, on the floor, on the chairs, on his dog bed and his favorite pile of laundry - I even looked in the basement!
Good thing Moonpie decided that *she* wanted to be on the favorite dog bed and woke him up. He's a fluffy white dog, it's a fluffy white dog bed. That was a few days ago, when it was "unseasonably warm" (though as climate change continues to accelerate that term becomes increasingly meaningless). It is now sweater weather. Hopefully the bright purple sweater will keep him visible.
