I myself have finally figured out the secret to listening to things is to be doing something that takes up exactly the right amount of brain power and neither more nor less than that, and have been gleefully listening to audiodramas while playing stardew, playing a silly match 3 game on my phone, and cleaning things.

And on that note, I googled "underrated audiodramas", popped by /r/audiodrama, and found Connie Cosmic. Is the writing the best thing ever? No, definitely not. Was the one character with agoraphobia and social anxiety perhaps not written as sensitively as we all would have liked? Oh, for sure. But does the main character share my name, and did I enjoy it? Yes!

So, yay, there's that.

In other news, went to the corner store today and the guy at the counter asked after me. He said he was worried I might be alone in the house, rattling around by myself now that my mother's been gone a year. Which is very sweet, and I was happy to inform him that in fact this house is packed. I should've asked after his kids the same time, but I forgot to do so. I'll do it next time.
