And Moonpie is a very brave dog. Her shaking is now down to only a 3 on the Richter scale!

It thunderstormed here, and the local emergency thingie transmitted a SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING and a FLASH FLOOD WARNING. It was raining like a cow pissing on a flat rock. There was some street flooding, but not enough to damage our car (my husband was out getting groceries).

I take it the husband and groceries were also all right?

Husband was soaked to the skin, but otherwise okay. And so were the groceries.

My cat is also very brave in thunderstorms. He bravely jumps into bed with me and let me protect him when it booms!

We got one here too, buckets of rain for a little while and a bit of pea-sized hail, followed by more moderate rain.
