I'm all sad about it but I liked it a lot more than the Amphibia finale, which I thought was a bit trite.

Also, they clearly left plenty of room open to do more in the universe if the opportunity arises. I was a bit worried about how they'd handle The Collector. In the end, I think that if they'd had a proper third season they could've been developed a bit more, but given the time they had it's not too shabby. At least everybody was clear on the distinction between "a traumatized little kid who, as a consequence of being very powerful and immortal doesn't quite grasp the difference between people and toys" and "Philip, who has had multiple chances to come to a moral realization about his actions and has just refused to do so, even until the very end". Asshole wouldn't even say sorry as a lie. Even in his last moments he wouldn't do it. Though I *do* wish they'd bothered to establish whether or not "Collector's going back to the stars to grow up a bit, but they can visit!" at all means "and while they're there, they're gonna have a little chitchat with the family about what is and is not appropriate behavior towards other beings". Because, wow.
