I have my period and omg I cannot wait for menopause.

Also, both my ankles are wonky this week. WTF. First one is "ah, no, die already" and then it's better but the other decides to crap out because, I don't know, solidarity?

Well, actually, I didn't change my mind, but it's so unfair that our bodies don't just, you know, stop bleeding, without added DRAMA.

You know what I'll never change my mind about?

I'll never change my mind about the fact that I just really, really like complaining. I will complain about my period until menopause, I'll complain about menopause, and I'll probably complain about old age too. Complaining is my right as a human, and I intend to indulge in it forever.

Not a week goes by without me stubbing my toe and then loudly complaining that I'm not incorporeal

It's a toss up...periods or hot flashes. Although, will state for a while there I was getting periods and hot flashes (a very very long while), so I am actually relieved and grateful to just have to deal with the hot flashes.

Menopause is definitely better than having a frigging period, I'll give it that.

I never had hot flashes or night sweats so it's not a hard given. But drinking soy definitely helps.

My mum has always been happy with her menopause, so it's different for everybody.
