mostly because I hate the grease getting on my glasses, but also because I find the cooking time for bacon to be weirdly finicky? IDK.

But when I do cook it, and it all goes right, I suddenly remember how much I freaking love bacon.

Damar Hamlin wants to help change that (There is apparently an app - actually, multiple apps, which is a problem - to help you locate AEDs in case of an emergency, but of course people need to know about them to register their public devices)

I love bacon, but never cook it at home - because I'd cook and eat the entire package at one go. but if I'm eating out, my meals will most often include bacon in some way

Just seeing that headline about 'In the 1950s, less than 10% of families with children were single-parent' I was going 'stigmatisation of unmarried mothers, lack of support for them if they kept the child, massive pressure to give baby up for adoption or have it concealed as mom's change of life child...' even before any looking at divorce stats. Duh.

I have changed the way I clean my glasses based on a recommendation from the person at the glasses store. I had to get my sunglasses straightened up while on my way to Phoenix, and asked her about a good glass cleaner. She was alone in the store, and said "I should sell you our product, but the best glasses cleaner is Dawn Foamy dish detergent!"

I've been using it since then, and it does an AMAZING job. And I'll bet it wouldn't have a problem with bacon grease since it's dish detergent.

At least you know about the idea overall. ;-) The Dawn that I use is largely fragrance-free, it's possible different ones in different regions.  I always try to get FF products as my wife and I both have moderate to severe allergies and I frequently have hyperosmia hit me.

I keep a microfiber cloth in my pocket, always, because my glasses get smudgy many times over the course of the day and I don't want to use the hem of my shirt.

I used to love bacon. Presumably still do, but don't eat it any more. When I did eat it, though, I figured that if I was going to make all that mess, I was going to cook the whole packet, which also saved me the trouble of storing the open unused portion safely.

The only problem with this was that I lived alone. But mmmm, bacon!
