Finn was overdue on a few shots, so we would've had to go in anyway.

Also, he gained half a pound since his last visit. Finn, I mean, not the vet.

Yay! Glad to hear it. Though it'd be fine if the vet gained half a pound, though it's more exciting for Finn.

Yes, but I didn't have to carry the vet to his office. I sure had to carry Finn there, though! Every time I put him down he'd look at me like "Yes. I am now on the ground. Perhaps we should head home now?"

He sure was happy enough on the way back, trotting amiably at my side.

One shot today, one shot in two weeks when he goes in for the groomer. Since I wasn't sure exactly how much this visit would ultimately cost I thought it better to split the bill a bit.

Oh, good! That must be a big relief for all of you. (Ok, Finn might not understand the situation well enough to be relieved, but who knows what dogs know?)

He's relieved that we just saw the vet and not the groomer. He definitely knows what it means if he's on the walk and not Moonpie, and also what it means when we go that way. And he HATES the groomer.

Yay for Finn! My Lily Dog has a tiny warty bump right on top of her head that I have not bothered the vet about. Probably will mention it at her next check-up. She'll be 12 next month, so she's allowed some imperfections.
