Got divebombed by a mockingbird yesterday
Jul. 25th, 2022 10:32 amTo be fair, I think I'd accidentally stood a little too long near a nest. So it was well-deserved, if unexpected. The bird ACTUALLY bonked into my head! I hope it's all right, I didn't intend to cause any distress.
The turkey poults around my block are pretty big, but the ones down by Midland Beach are eensy, small enough that you hardly see them because they hide under bushes and you could pick them up two or three in the palm of your hand. If you *could* pick them up, I mean, which I bet you can't because Mom wouldn't like it. I don't think I'd like to get divebombed by a turkey. The mockingbird was bad enough!
