He did not have his huskies. I did not have my dogs. We said it at the same time - "Where are the dogs!?"

50 Times Cat Owners “Set A Trap” To Catch Them

Despite what you’ve heard, the word “imagineering” is not unique to Disney. In fact, it’s a phrase that was first used in World War II corporate propaganda.

A growing “cap-and-cover” movement could replace urban highways with parks and real estate — and reverse decades of racial and class divisions in the process. (I'm not so sure about that conclusion, but it's worth a shot.)

Are the huskies okay? I hope there was a mundane explanation.

My friend E in high school, desperately wanted to work for Disney on cartoons as his career. He didn't really ever *say* it though - and when it came time to apply for college, he applied to the School of Engineering and was admitted.

His parents were thrilled, he was a good student, got good grades and this all seemed reasonable.

He absolutely hated it - and finally shared that he *wanted* to be a Disney Imagineer - but that he *really* didn't see how any of these engineering classes were going to get him there.

It was such a weird disconnect - somehow he had never said this to anyone - and had just assumed that "engineer" and "imagineer" were the same? Or that an engineer at Disney had a cool name?

Ultimately he ended up switching to an architecture program and was much happier, but I always think of this when someone mentions "imagineering"
