Eva, Jenn, and I watched The House on Netflix.

Soooooooo the first one wasn't too bad. Horrifying, but the ending was all right, and it is a horror film, so. And the third was fine, no problems there. But that second one? Fucking harrowing, start to finish. I feel that specific piece requires a whole buttload of content warnings, just for that.

Yeah. Yeah. I could do with the ones on either end - I actually really liked the last one! - but that middle one - yeesh.

I did! The first was my favorite. I liked the last except a bit WTF about quite what happened at the end. The second ... it's interesting how we react differently, I found it a bit weird and boring, though it seemed a decent concept. (Also so nice to hear normal English accents.) No idea why Netflix thinks it's all a comedy.

No idea why streaming services think anything. Eva was age restricted from watching Only Murders in the Building on Hulu, and I gotta say, she's watched less tame stuff than that for ages.
