Arm aches. Lymph node in armpit swollen. Throat scratchy. Head aches, possibly because I didn't eat or drink anything while sleeping all day. Eyes itch.

I'm also generally itchy all over, but that predates the shot.

Ugh.

Still better than covid, probably. I guess. (I have a hard time taking future potential misery seriously when my throat and arm hurt now. I'm aware this is a mistake in my thinking, thanks.)

Both kids had the swollen lymph node in the armpit of the arm that got the shot with their booster, which they had not had with either of the first two shots. This was also the last side effect to fade -- it lasted the whole two days and into the third, though not as badly. They were understandably very annoyed at it.

I had all that too with the booster and a fever. It all worked through in 3 days. Hang in there and feel better quickly!

I had about 12 hours of general body aches starting 24 hours after the second shot (Moderna), and about 24 hours of general body aches starting a few hours after the third shot (Pfizer). I don't remember the swollen armpit thing.

I'll admit, if it hadn't been for omicron, I probably wouldn't ever have gotten a booster, even though I was eligible earlier since I work in healthcare. Luckily my side effects weren't as bad the third time (probably because Moderna uses a half dose), but they were bad enough!
