It's not very cold this year at all, but it still does not change my opinion that going to Times Square to stand around and shiver with a bunch of strangers for hours and hours on end, in a place that really has insufficient toilets, is just a bad idea. It did not magically become a good idea with the addition of exciting new covid varieties.
