I made an appointment to get my covid booster, 3rd shot.

I triple checked which park the mobile clinic was at, even looked at a map. There are two small parks near me, both of which have had the mobile clinic van in front of them, and I always get them confused, so I was very careful.

Got there on time, walked all around the park and up a couple of streets nearby as well. No van.

Ugh. I'll have to make a new appointment now.

My husband and son and I didn’t have any trouble getting our boosters, but my mom arrived at her appointment at Walgreens, only to be told they were having trouble getting Pfizer in stock and could only offer Moderna. She asked, then why did their website still offer appointments for Pfizer, and they said they didn’t have any control over the website.

For the local staff of a chain pharmacy, I’m sure that’s true, but I bet the chain’s central office is getting a lot of complaints.

We’d had Moderna to start with, so it was a match for us. Mom had Pfizer for her first two doses, so she decided to try again for Moderna next week.
