I'm horrible when it comes to spelling errors. I think they need to be corrected, stat, and I don't care who knows it, for I am the Red Pencil of Doom. I realize this sometimes seems petty. Such is life when you are the Red Pencil of Doom.

I'm also inordinately proud of the fact that, when I want to insult somebody's intelligence, I don't do it by pointing out that they can't spell, even though I could. Because I'm the Red Pencil of Doom. Oh, I might point that out in the same post, but that isn't how I know they're illogical, irrational, or just stupid.

If you tell anybody, I'll smite you. Because I'm... well, you know.

::giggles:: I'm so glad I'm not the only one who likes red pens/pencils. ;-)

One thing I really look forward to in TAing one day is the ability to use Red Pens all over students' papers. I don't understand why profs want to use Green or Blue or Purple Pens to spare their students' suffering!

Frankly I'm thankfull for that, as I'm hideously dyslexic. I'd rather be chewed out for the opinions I have rather than the state of my spelling.

Funny. I'm known at my high school (OK, by one of my more eccentric friends) as "that little red squiggly line in Microsoft Word." I'm not sure if that's a compliment or not.

another question...

16 point font. Heh. Or accompanied by the word "sexay." Ugh. I hate that.

When I misspell things (and I know that I do; I have some words stuck in my head incorrectly) feel free to let me know in a nice red pencil of doom sort of way. Because otherwise I never realize that I'm spelling them wrong until I type in Word and it yells at me.

I really hate when I correct someone in friendly spirit, and then they get mad at me for it. It makes me curl up in the fetal position, or something... I'm such a wuss for scolding.
In any case, though, I'd be very happy for any spelling corrections you would make.
