Last political ad of the season arrived in our mail, telling me that Vito Fossella is supported by Republicans and "reasonable Democrats", and a special fuck you to you too, Vito who is running on keeping Rikers open wtf.

I wasn't going to vote for him anyway, but seriously, no.

Perhaps one good? thing of the previous years of hell is that it's emboldened many more people to state how unqualified they are for the offices they seek right up front rather than having to read between the lines on them. (The corresponding bad thing is how many of them get elected anyway because people want someone unqualified in those offices so they will attack their preferred detested Other.)
