Which I can do, because this new one fits in the window precisely. Though I really ought to see if I can nail some boards out there to make a shelf - I was terrified it'd plunge onto the street and hit somebody as I removed it, which was not helped by the fact that the old one DID plunge out of the window when we finally got it out. (Didn't hit anybody, thank god.)
