I gotta say, "replace all remaining pipes that were here when we moved in" has jumped waaaaaaay up on my priority list lately.

Replacing the original circuit/fuse box, for me! Yeah. The invisible renovations are such a drag---all you get is what should have been there in the first place!

Every one of us has a project like that. If we're lucky, regardless of our level of caution, we can keep it to one such project at a time. Glad you managed to get this one squared away enough!

We had to replace about 80 percent of the plumbing our first year in the house. We couldn't see so didn't know half the valves were rusted opened. It was all iron pipes.

The roof came next. It *looked* okay but it was actually on it's last legs and had been leaking for some time *before* we moved it.

The joys of home ownership.
