This is perhaps my bias talking, but I'm somehow not surprised that this particular anti-vaxxer exists at the union of "controlling abusive spouse" and "cross tattoo".

The nurse might have said that, but was never given the chance. The man accused and then punched. It's not even clear if it was the right nurse.

The CBC News article I read said that the pharmacy only had one nurse doing vaccinations, and that's why they're pausing vaccinations. So presumably it was the same nurse. Though I don't know if the offender would have known that.

I find myself wishing there were a) a way to make sure that the woman unfortunately married to that card-carrying member of the terrible wanna-be doms club had a reliable way out of the situation, should she desire one, and b) some means of making sure the nurse was also okay. Yikes!

The military officer in the icon would so very have anyone who pulled reprehensible behavior like that, especially on a medic, up on charges. He'd chuck 'em in the brig or confine them to quarters while awaiting same, for sure, and probably give them an earful and a half, too.

Ugh, this reminds me of the "man of God" not too long ago telling women to cover up on the beach (ETA: he lost his job over it and they were wearing bathing suits and swim wear as they were sitting on _a beach_ so yeah, fuck him). I can't remember if he had religious iconography amongst his tattoos but he sure had enough of it coming out of his mouth.
