That side of Spokane is sort of like a *huge* layer cake. Basically built on sandbars from when that huge glacial lake in Montana broke thru the ice sheet at the end of the last Ice Age. Those were the floods that created the scablands in Washington and Oregon.

I thought about having the LEDs along the baseboard, but that'd mess up your night vision more and make it more likely that you might trip over things.
