Whee, tax free week!
Sep. 3rd, 2004 02:02 pmFor some reason, I'm like the death of shirts. Shirts enter my house... and they don't come out. VERY annoying when you're, once again, down to reusing the three shirts you can find.
Oh, I do have a few more than that, but they tend to get stained. I spill food too easily. I love my parents, but they could've stood to help me more with my fine motor skills, particularily the ability to get fork to mouth without spilling. Or burger to mouth. Or dry bread to mouth. Or invisible cake to mouth. And it always stains. WATER stains my shirts, and they're pure fucking cotton!
Oh. And I need to buy a new bra or two. Mine are falling apart. Pity I can never buy bras in stores, but the only ones that approximate "fitting" aren't cotton or have itchy lace.
Oh, and Jenn? Stop buying me shoes. Yes, I know I keep wearing the falling apart ones, but they're comfy, and I have enough pairs of shoes now. Thanks for the ones you got, love 'em, but if you want to do something useful buy me a gift certificate to B&N (works in the college bookstore) or some metrocards. Or a few shirts.
Anyway, I'm off. Djusk' a!

Date: 2004-09-03 11:10 am (UTC)And getting clothes dirty is practically a ritual with me - always when they're new (usually very first day or wearing.) And I have one t-shirt that I spilt muligatawny soup on at Christmas, so it stayed home and then was sent on to me at uni once Mum had got the stains out. So I promptly spilt tomato soup on it at Easter and it stayed home once more ;0)

As for the clothes, it's irritating as all expletive. I WANT IT TO STOP!!!!!

Just shows that they had some sense. The question is, were they burning tights whilst they wore their noncrispy bras?
