And by "things to do", I mean I took a nap. It was long, and somewhat refreshing, and now my nose is stuffed up. Guys... I think I have a cold. How can I have a cold? I don't go anywhere or see anyone!

Anyway, I'm thinking I'll make a comm about a cookbook challenge if only some kind soul would make a promotional banner. I feel deep inside that it's not really a challenge or community without a proper promotional banner, something that looks nice. And then we could all opt in to the level of commitment we want. One recipe a week? Fine for those of us who want to do that! One a month? That's okay too! "I'll think about doing one or two this year"? Well, realism is just peachy.

here's two banners to start off with, and I have 800px and 450px versions of both. if I've done this right, you will be able to cut-and-paste the entire contents of the text area into a new post, and that will show off both banners and four text areas, such that anyone can cut-and-paste the entire contents of any of those text areas into their own new post, which will then show off a banner with links.

Count me in on the recipe challenge? I have entire bookcases full of cookbooks, with all sorts of bits of ribbon stuck in them to mark recipes I want to try but haven't yet. And then there's the I don't know how many I've bookmarked similarly. I have some ridiculously picky eaters in the house, but I could probably manage 2 a month.

Were you still interested in the bingo card idea? The all_bingo community has a link for creating cards, and I have a few ideas for what to put on the card, so I could make a couple community cards if you wanted, though I can't make banners or anything for completed cards.

Cool! I have a list of possible bingo squares, and I plan on making a few different sized cards, in case anyone wants something easier to accomplish. Were you planning on making an opening post in the community? If so, I will wait to post the cards until after then. If not, I can post them at any time (after I generate them anyway.)

ETA: I see you did indeed make a post since I looked earlier. If you want me to wait until a certain time to post the cards, I will. Otherwise, I will probably post them tomorrow when I have more energy.
