Date: 2020-12-15 05:57 pm (UTC)Right now, we took two budget hits this year. We lost an FTE - I don't know if permanent or suspended, our opening hours were cut by 10, we lost a student work-study, we cut ALL our magazine subscriptions, we temporarily suspended all our magazine bindings - that we can get done later, and we stopped a couple computer search databases. And early numbers show that Spring '21 numbers are trending lower than Fall '20 numbers were. So no acquisitions for a while. But we'll probably start a wish list, and I'll get them on there. Another thing that I'd like to do is expand our music library with Grammy winners for the last few years, say five, and keep that current. Same thing with movies, add some DVDs to it. We're a little constrained for DVD space, but we can add another standalone for CDs. Though come to think of it, we might be able to do a wall unit for DVDs.
