because you think that all the books in the past were classics, do yourself a favor - go take some time and read some bestsellers of whenever that have largely been forgotten today, and never quite made it to hallowed "classic" status. I'll wait.

I've heard that, since most of those are also sold to backpackers, one method of eating them if you don't have hot water is to seal them in the bag with water and then tuck it into your shirt for an hour or so.

It's minimally palatable.
