Ehh, one kind of pimple, another kind of pimple. Of course, getting killed by acne is far less likely.

Agreed. I think it's only fair that, the day I first found a gray hair, there should be no more acne, ever.

I feel you! My skin is WORSE in my late thirties than it was in my teens, which I view as a grave injustice.

All the adults in my life told me it would just "clear up" after my hormones calmed down and that was a DAMNED LIE.

Another damned lie: Accutane. Cleared everything up for a year, maybe two, and then it came back. Not as bad, but I was LIVID.

Since stress increases acne, those first and seconds are probably related.

And what makes acne a bigger pain, as you get older, the spots don't heal as quickly.

My adult acne is related to food intolerances. I can tell I'm eating something my body isn't coping with when my face breaks out. *sigh*

Tell me about it! I'll be 59 in a month and I still have acne in my hair, not that there's much hair left. :-)

I've had acne for almost fifty years.
I used to love the Ramona books when I was a kid!
I don't think it's the school's business to teach kids to diet.

So far I haven't noticed my 2 third-graders getting too much nutritional training. I've been on the lookout ever since the one started saying he was on a diet at..5? 4? (he's eight now) He was near the bottom of the weight/age chart. He's finally moved up to the 20ish percentile this year. Luckily, he hasn't figured out carbs and sugar yet.

His brother, on the other hand, is off the top of the weight/age chart. It's, uh, a bit difficult to keep up the calories for the one while trying to cut back a little for the other one.

They're both high up on the height/age chart.

Oh my gosh, same. I'm particularly thinking about it today as my benzoyl peroxide has irritated my skin much more than normal and it's burny.
