I had remembered, of course, that Darryl had gone off and changed his name when he realized he (might be) part Native American, in an appropriative way that probably would piss off any actual Native American he ever might meet. And I'd remembered his literal song and dance when he first learned the word bisexual and applied it to his own life.

I'd forgotten about Christmas sweater day.

So here's the question. How long is it going to take him to realize that baby Hebecca is Jewish, and when he does, how quickly will he rush to convert?

(I'm not actually sure that Hebecca *is* Jewish - the egg donor is Jewish, but she doesn't care, and the surrogate mother isn't and also probably doesn't care. I'm pretty sure that if I were to research this I'd get a dozen different variations on "eh, it depends". But it doesn't matter, because I think we can all agree that Darryl would be his usual Darryl self.)
