We had an 80-pound greyhound who was convinced he belonged in people's laps. And the front half of him actually fit in a person's lap, if the person wasn't planning to do or see anything else.

It doesn't matter how big the animal is, once they're in your lap I hope you weren't planning to do anything else.

Eva, having had a full grown German Shepherd climb into my lap, I would not say all dogs are lapdogs. Nice dogs? Yes. Lapdogs? Definitely no.

Cause otherwise, yeah, they are, in fact, all lapdogs.

Eva is both entirely correct and flipping awesome in the way she (? enlighten me if I goofed the pronoun, please) thinks. :D Huskies are such lapdogs, it's adorable. They LEEEEEEAN! And if you've never had a shepherd go FLOP! at your feet upon meeting you, trust me, it is heart-melting.

Eva is a she. Ana, now Angel, is a they. Weirdly, the end result of all this is that I usually get Angel's pronoun right (unless talking about them in the past, when I'm prone to slip-ups) but now often call Eva "they". This is extremely annoying for me, though neither of them has complained.

I was pretty confident Angel was a they, having seen you use their pronouns before. I couldn't remember with Eva, though. Gotcha!
