Did she never learn when NOT to use pronouns? You can't say they unless you specify who "they" means. A sentence like this is unclear, because she seems to mean that the US has no weapons of mass destruction which is 1. probably untrue and 2. not relevant.
Not saying that the People in Power aren't idiots, but... basic English, please!
