Thanks for the comments
Apr. 28th, 2020 12:15 pmthough I think I should clarify that I was mostly just whining in the form of a question.
Also, just checked the calendar, and the sell-by doesn't even hit for another two days, and I don't think it's that unreasonable to expect my chicken, kept in recommended conditions, to stay good until the sell-by date.

Date: 2020-04-28 03:39 am (UTC)Ah, good information – however, note! Pulling off a pull-over style mask (I have two, I am the voice of experience) tends to invert it and drag the outer (foreign-soiled) side across your eyes. There's apparently no way of not doing this that doesn't also entail touching the outer side if it's at all snug. One will want to rehearse taking it off and thinking through how one will want to handle doing so before using in field conditions.
ETA: However, I will also note that instead of using it pull-over style, having a flat length and tying it snugly behind one's head such that it has a pull-knot for doffing should also work without the inversion problem.
ETA2: Also, the fact that adding a nylon works in this way tells me something interesting about cloth mask construction. I think I may know a way to make cloth masks, without nylon, seal better to the face.
